Ultra Violet Systems
PROSEP Filter Systems Ltd is now able to offer
a wide selection of domestic ultra violet water treatment systems.
The system utilises ultra violet light as a disinfection technique, this
has several advantages over other disinfection methods such as chlorination and
ozonation. UV light does not add anything to the water, therefore no harmful
by-products or undesirable odour can be found.
WHOLE HOUSE ULTRA VIOLET SYSTEMS
We have a selection of Ultra Violet Systems available suitable
for treating water supplied to the whole house. The chart shows
the typical specifications of the whole house systems we have
available. The high efficiency lamp is accommodated in a quartz
sleeve which protects the lamp from the water but which allows
the UV rays to pass through it. These are housed in a hygienic
stainless steel chamber. All units are supplied complete with
control box and full installation and operation instructions.

Why
use UV?
We strongly recommend the installation of a pre-filtration system
to prevent bacteria being shielded from the UV light by sediment.
We can supply a 10" polypropylene housing with a 5 micron
sediment cartridge for a little over £30 inc vat.
Spares and accessories such as replacement cartridge filters,
ultra violet lamps, quartz sleeves and other fittings can also
be supplied, usually from stock.
